The Government currently offers a 'free entitlement' to rising 3 year olds and all 4 year olds equivalent to 15 hours per week term time. The aim of this entitlement is to ensure all eligible children have access to good quality early education which is free at the point of delivery. As a provider of good quality early education, we are registered to claim the 'free entitlement' and choose to offer it to families between 3.00pn and 6pm Monday to Friday term time. Parents will be asked to contribute 50p towards the child's tea at 4pm or bring in their own healthy snack to be given at this time. Children currently qualify for the 'free entitlement' in the academic term following their 3rd birthday i.e. September, January or April.
Sunnyfields appreciate the hours of their 'free entitlement' do not suit everyone and therefore will discount a sum equivalent to the 'free entitlement' divided over the whole 52 week year from all of their private sessions/fees (full day, morning and afternoon) depending on the number of 'free entitlement' hours we are able to claim on your behalh (currently a maximum of 3 hours per half day and 6 hours per full day). Current monthly discounts are as follows:
3 hours per week £ 34.77
6 hours per week £ 69.54
9 hours per week £ 104.31
12 hours per week £ 139.08
15 hours (maximum) per week £ 173.85
In either case, we will need evidence of your childs's date of birth and a signed Parent Declaration stating the number of 'free entitlement' hours you wish to claim through Sunnyfields.
